FNF Sonic The Funk is a spectacular new Friday Night Funkin' MOD where you'll face off against Knuckles, Shadow, Tails and Metal Sonic, with the ultimate goal of saving Amy Rose (if you manage to get the "good" ending). It's easily one of the most exciting releases of 2026, thanks to the incredible amount of detail packed into every aspect of the mod.
It's hard to highlight just one feature of Sonic The Funk, because this mod excels in so many areas. The quality of the artwork is exceptional, with beautifully drawn and animated characters and backgrounds. The stages for the battles against Knuckles, Shadow, Tails and Metal Sonic are inspired by real locations from classic Sonic games, making this mod a true delight for fans of the franchise.
One of the most creative and distinctive features of the mod are its new mechanics, which gradually evolve throughout the different songs. These mechanics make the game feel like a completely fresh and renewed experience, especially during the final showdown against Metal Sonic. You'll have to dodge obstacles, collect rings and hit your rival, all while nailing the notes of the song. It's incredibly fun!
Special mention goes to the amazing amount of detail packed into the mod: different endings based on your performance, various death and score screens, a custom menu, and even a custom pause screen!
