Friday Night Funkin’ VS Hex Repainted is a new MOD for FNF that offers an aesthetic rehaul of the artistic part of one of VS Hex, one of the most famous MODs in the history of the game. The truth is that once you look closely, it’s a pretty interesting remastering that could stay as the best fanmade rehaul of this MOD, no doubt.
Being an aesthetic rehaul, this MOD does not offer any change in the songs or charts of the game. What does change (and quite a lot) is the skin of Hex, the main character, as well as different details in the backgrounds of the different clashes. For example, GF now has a new skin, and most of the backgrounds are improved in terms of quality.
One of the highlights of FNF VS Hex Repainted is the new cinematics it offers. While it is true that the original skin might be better than the new repainted skin, the same is not true for the cinematics, and it is clear that the new ones are much more interesting and have much better quality. Overall, it’s not crazy to say that this MOD could become the best option to play VS Hex, because except for the skin (which I think the Repainted version is better), everything else is clearly better in the new version.
