Friday Night Funkin' Platinum Engine is a new unofficial engine for FNF that focuses on facilitating the inclusion of new MODs within the game, using it as a base to make the whole process simpler. It's nowhere near comparable to what can be found in other more well-known options (such as Kade Engine), but it's good that new alternatives are emerging that offer different options.
In this case, the new features of Platinum Engine are very specific, and are summarized as follows:
- New Downscroll
- New Ghost Tapping.
- New options menu.
- New format for scores.
- Different additional information during the songs: how much time is left and how much accuracy or glitches we are having.
- New personal inputs.
- New customizable inputs.
- Possibility to select another level of difficulty from the song pause menu.
As this new engine is updated more and more new features will be added, although for now it is far from reaching the level of its direct competition.
