FNF Mario's Monday Morning Mix-Up (Mario's MMP) is a new Friday Night Funkin' MOD set in the Mario universe, featuring a beautifully applied retro aesthetic. The MOD is still in DEMO/Showcase phase, but already has 6 songs that give us a hint of what to expect in the full release.
What I liked most about this MOD is the variety of scenarios and aesthetics it incorporates: despite being entirely inspired by the retro aesthetic of original Mario releases, each song is set in a different game/scenario. This allows us to face different retro versions of Mario (with Luigi appearing in some of the DEMO songs).
One of the most notable curiosities of the DEMO version is the sixth song, "Puzzled", which is set in the Pokemon universe, maintaining the retro pixel art style of the other songs.
All the DEMO content comes accompanied by some interesting additional details, especially the custom start menu, pause screen and the custom death screens.
FNF Mario's MMP is without a doubt a MOD that shows great promise for its full release and, as of today, is well worth trying in its DEMO version.
