Finally, and after more than 3 years of waiting, the new update of Friday Night Funkin’: WeekEnd 1 is finally available. This new episode stars Pico, and features a total of 3 new songs, as well as new cinematics of spectacular quality. The new FNF update is now playable online at NewGrounds (which has already been down due to high user demand), and can also be downloaded for Windows, Mac & Linux.
This is a historic moment for Friday Night Funkin’, as many users have been waiting for this update since April 2021, when the game’s last official update, week 7, was released.

What’s New in Friday Night Funkin’ Week End 1 Update
The new update not only brings with it new songs and cinematics, as it is the first update of FNF’s official return after 3 years. Although we know that this is not all that the Funkin Crew team has in store for us, these are some of the most interesting new features that are already available in this release:
- New results/score screen
- New in-game charting system!
- New remixes of some songs.
- 2 new characters
- New sound effects
Now we will be waiting for new news about everything that is to come in the next few months. This is just the beginning of the official return of Friday Night Funkin’.
